Review of Wicked Wedding: A Wicked Horse Vegas Novel (Left at the Altar Book 4) by Sawyer Bennett
Picking up a runaway bride from the side of a Vegas street isn't something Andrew Collings ever expected to do. Falling in love with Brynne is even further from his expectations, especially since he had just come to the tentative conclusion that day that perhaps love and a white picket fence were probably not in his future. Picking up the gorgeous runaway changed all that, though, in the sweetest, sexiest of ways.
Brynne is a mess. She just found out her fiancé had cheated on her with her maid of honor/best friend, and his best man, courtesy of a picture on her best friend's phone. Then along comes her white knight, rescuing her from the side of the road while she's still wearing her wedding dress. When Andrew comes up with the crazy idea to give her the wedding of her dreams all so the gown of her dreams can have its day to shine, in her buzzed state, she goes along with it, and ends up falling hard for the charming, sweet scientist. But Andrew has a secret in his past, a secret that when it comes out just may make annulling their marriage a foregone conclusion. How can their newfound love ever survive it?
I loved Wicked Wedding, but that's no surprise, considering that I love everything of Sawyer Bennett's that I've read. But, what did surprise me is that Wicked Wedding isn't nearly as dirty as I had been expecting. Oh sure, it's definitely steamy, but its got so much heart, in the form of one Andrew Collings. He is the real star of Wicked Wedding. He's sweet and sexy and so damn charming that I think I fell in love with him as soon as I read the first page. Really, I loved everything about Wicked Wedding, though, even Brynne (although when she turned into a judgy bitch toward the end, my love may have dimmed a tad). It's sweet, it's super sexy, and Andrew and Brynne are an adorable couple with lots of heart. I'd love to read more about these two!
