Review of A Perfect Lie by Lisa Renee Jones A PERFECT LIE Hailey's story is told journal style, weaving from past to present, taking the reader on one heck of a twisted journey! She's the daughter of a US Presidential candidate. She had the seemingly perfect life the daughter of a presidential candidate should have. But really it was just a facade, masking secrets, lies, betrayal - all the things we Americans have come to expect from politics and politicians. I was absolutely riveted while reading, never knowing for sure what was going on, if Hailey, if anyone, was telling the truth. A Perfect Lie is twisted to be sure, but so entertaining, so readable that I forgot sometimes I was reading about politics, which is one of my least favorite things to even think about.
