Review: The Scene Stealer by Renee Harless THE SCENE STEALER Small town waitress, Larsen, and a man seeking his way back to the spotlight, Devyn, couldn't make a more strange pairing on paper. But there's something to be said for souls recognizing pain in each other. And there's no doubt that both Devyn and Larsen are suffering through a lot of pain. They'll have to go through a lot, though, if they want to make a relationship work. There's no way Larsen is prepared to live in Devyn's world. And oh there's the little fact that someone has anonymously started threatening and harassing Larsen. The Scene Stealer was such a surprise! A very good surprise. I was expecting something a bit fluffy - typical Hollywood bad boy-ish stuff, what I got was much deeper, much more emotional, with two great leads.
