Review: Reveal ( Wicked Ways Duet Book 2) by K. Bromberg Ryker fucked up royally at the end of Resist. So when Reveal picks up, Vaughn and Ryker are dealing with his screwup. He begs and grovels (and I'm finally satisfied with the way a man grovels in a romance novel!!) and Vaughn does not give in for the longest time. Nope, because his screwup affected everything - their relationship, her life, his life - EVERYTHING. But, at least Ryker realizes his mistake and works his ass off to fix it. Whew! But, don't be thinking he gets off easy, or Vaughn does, because there is a lot of drama here, a lot happens and our couple has to overcome a ton of obstacles to get to their happy ever after. This conclusion is intense, passionate and full of suspense and secrets. I absolutely loved it, loved how they grew as a couple, grew individually, and the alphahole is brought to his knees by a kickass woman. The very best kind of love story in my opinion! Review of Resist (Wicked Ways Book 1) by K. Bromberg RESIST Vaughn has good reasons for running an escort agency, and those reasons aren't what you might think. No, but they are really the best kind of reasons. There's really only one thing she loves, lives for, and then Ryker swoops into her life and disrupts that life. Despite her sky-high walls that are thicker than Fort Knox, he somehow manages to get past them. The question is, will she escape from whatever it is they have with her heart intact?
