Review: Whiskey Surprises (Classic Curves Book 1) by Jaqueline Snowe WHISKEY SURPRISES Ryan doesn't exactly want to be at this car show, trying to win the awards for his dad's car that his dad was never able to win while he was alive. Then he meets the show's organizer, Fern, and suddenly, his time there is looking a lot more fun. Can these two truly spend just 5 days having hot sex without letting feelings get involved? Of course not... I would say, on one hand, this story delivered what it promised - hot sex. On the other hand, it was lacking a bit on the story side. There's not a lot else going on here but some insta-love, or lust at the very least, and a bit of ott drama between Fern's boss and fellow coworker. I didn't really like Fern that much - she was a bit abrasive and quick to jump to conclusions. Ryan was OK, but he was a bit cardboard cutout. So, not a horrible way to spend a couple hours reading, but certainly not a very substantial or layere...
