Review of The Very Thought of You (Love Everlasting) (The Thorntons Book 2) by Iris Morland Megan has hated Caleb ever since she was 17 and he arrested her for underage drinking. Seems reasonable to hate someone for arresting you when you had indeed committed a crime, right? Wrong. And it's that attitude of Megan's that sets the tone, the very dreary, negative, tone for the rest of the story, and the reason why I couldn't get into The Very Thought of You. Caleb wants to fix what's wrong between them, but Megan resists, FOREVER, it seems like, so the relationship between the two remains antagonistic for nearly the entire story. And it bugged me to no end. And the stupid reason for their breakup? More than stupid. Just plain juvenile on Megan's part. Can you tell I didn't like her? She irritated me so much that I couldn't in good conscience rate this higher than 2 stars. I liked Caleb and his family, and the story is OK, but Megan is such a horrible cha...
