But though he may be a sweet, charming Southern gentleman, she knows better than to get involved with a man who's carrying around the same kind of pain she is. The heart (and the body) want what they want, though, and after awhile they can't help themselves. Will Kane be the one who sticks? The one who actually stands by Simone? Oh boy but I was not expecting this one! It's heartbreaking in parts, but thoroughly entertaining, and Kane and Simone are absolute fire together.
