Review / Release Blitz: Light 'em Up: A Bears Hockey Novel (Bang Brothers Hockey #5) by Kelly Jamieson

Light 'Em Up by Kelly Jamieson is now available! https://geni.us/LightEmUp Available on All Platforms Annie Bang I’m thrilled to be working in professional hockey, since my five brothers are all hockey players. My new role as skating coach to the New York Bears is the perfect fit and I can’t wait to whip all these guys into shape so we can win more games. Except one of the guys is Logan Coates—the guy who sent my brother to the hospital in a memorable game three seasons ago. I want nothing to do with him. Logan Coates I don’t need some tiny figure skater telling me what to do. I know how to skate. I wouldn’t be in the NHL if I didn’t. Although, I am a fourth liner. I do want more ice time. I want to make a difference on the team. But learning how to figure skate isn’t it. Especially from Annie Bang, who hates my guts. Speaking of guts…she has ’em. She’s a pint-sized badass. And that’s sexy as hell. When I’m around her, my skate blade’s not the only thing made of steel. ...

Review / Release Blast: Just One Scandal (The Kingston Family #2) by Carly Phillips

Release Date: July 6 A jilted bride. Her brother’s ex-buddy. A fake affair would be crazy…right? Chloe Kingston’s life is exactly how she needs it: safe and stable. Right up until her reliable, low-risk fiancé jilts her on their fairy-tale wedding day. As she works her way through the reception champagne—and wonders where she’s going to live—she stumbles into her brother Linc’s ex-best friend. If only Beckett Daniels were hideous. But he’s not. He’s everything her erstwhile groom was not. Hot. Sexy. Dangerous. And she’s just buzzed enough to want all that Greek-god gorgeousness to show her the kind of fun she’s been missing. Beck thrives on calculated risks, but taking advantage of Linc’s little sister isn’t one of them. What he can do is haul her tipsy, tulle-clad, tempting little butt to the bridal suite to sleep it off. Then move her into his spare room—which has the satisfying side effect of driving her brother crazy. They can’t remain platonic roommates for long. Not when ...

Review: Dirty Secret by Mira Lyn Kelly

Review: Dirty Secret by Mira Lyn Kelly DIRTY SECRET Allie's had a secret crush on her brother's biggest hockey enemy, Vaughn, for longer than she cares to admit. So when offered a chance to indulge in all that he has to offer, well, what smart woman wouldn't take him up on it? It can be their little secret, one that no one will ever know because Vaughn's not on her brother's hockey team, and never will be. Not that things ever change in the world of professional sports or anything! Dirty Secret was a nice sort of reversal of the brother's best friend trope, and done really well. Vaughn and Allie made a great couple once they got their shit straight and finally came together. I admit to wanting to smack Allie a time or two, though, because she was so freaking stubborn and tended to run instead of stick around and try to work things out. Aside from that, though, I really enjoyed this hockey romance. ARC via Give Me Books Promotions.
