Review of Dirty Bad Boy: A Fake Fiance Romance (Back To You Book 3) by Mira Lyn Kelly Laurel is desperate for a buffer between her and the clinger from her office, but the only relief in the place seems to be her nemesis her entire life, Jack, her brother Law's good friend. She knows if she asks him for a favor, he'll make her PAY forever, in all kinds of dastardly ways. But she's seriously desperate, so Jack it is. Jack has been letting Laurel get under his skin since he was six, so when he sees a chance to rub HER the wrong way. Of course he damn well seizes it with both hands and runs with it. And when he needs her to repay the favor by becoming his fake fiancée? Yeah...even better because he gets to piss her off for 2 months! Gah I loved Dirty Bad Boy!! It's by far my favorite of this series, and Jack and Laurel are amazing enemies to lovers. Review of Cabin 12 (Rock Point Book 2) by Freya Barker Bella is the baby of her big, meddlesome family, even at 37. They treat her like she's still a baby, too, even though she's a mature adult with a serious job as a paramedic. Her brother's teammate, Jasper, has irritated her from their very first meeting, but lately the sparks between them seem to be masking something other than simply irritation with each other. Could love and commitment be in their future? Well, possibly. If they can get past all the hurdles in their way. Things like a serial killer, Bella's anxieties, Jasper's belief that he's not good enough for her, and the fact that his boss is her very protective, bossy af big brother. Cabin 12 is a fantastic piece of storytelling. Bella and Jasper are such a great couple with palpable chemistry, fraught with passion of course, but not just that, I like how their relationship is believable with realistic problems for two very realistic characte...

Review of Brandy Alexander (Naughty Nights Presents) by Kitty Barstow Brandy never imagined that her big high school crush would be the one to take her away from the police station after her horrible blind date. Alex is her brother's best friend, the guy she always crushed on not so secretly, but she knew he just thought of her as Steve's annoying little sister. Now that they're both adults, though, and he's home after his service in the military, will he look at her differently, as the beautiful woman she is now or will Steve's still standing warning scare him off? For such a short novella, Brandy Alexander sure packed a punch. Both Brandy and Alex were well developed characters who shared an electric chemistry. Did I wish it were at least a little bit longer so I could enjoy them together more? Of course. Review of Breaking the Rules by Crystal Kaswell Emma (Brendon's sister from Tempting) and Brendon's friend, Hunter, are roommates now, and Emma wants him. Hunter wants her, too, but knows he can't have her. After all, Brendon's just told Hunter that he needs to look out for her, in a brotherly, protective kind of way, not in a romantic, physical kind of way. But, forced proximity, chemistry and all that jazz, have different ideas, and eventually, the two are unable to resist their pull to each other. Can they pull off a hidden relationship? Should they? Although not my favorite in the Inked Hearts series, it's nonetheless, a great installment. Hunter and Emma have obvious chemistry that once consummated, is combustible.
