Review of Mantis (K19 Security Solutions Book 4) by Heather Slade When Mantis Cassman's best friend, Dutch, rescues him, Mantis knows he's not coming home to the woman he still loves because Alegria is with Dutch now. Talk about a clusterfuck! But Dutch knows in his heart of hearts that Alegria doesn't love him the way she loves Mantis. Will Dutch step aside so his best friend can have the future with the woman they both love that Alegria and Mantis have looked forward to since they all met years ago? Although I've read the first story in this series, Razor , it didn't really affect my understanding of Mantis because I don't remember Razor that well aside from remembering I didn't like the heroine. So I'd say this is definitely a standalone within a series of interconnected standalone stories. I have mixed feelings about Mantis .
