Review: Locked: Reckless MC Opey Texas Chapter by KB Winters LOCKED When Holden sees the woman who cruelly rejected and mocked him after their high school graduation, he means to dismiss her from his mind. He's got many, many other more pressing things on his mind than giving Aspen the time of day. But when she needs his and the club's protection, perhaps Holden just may give her at redemption and at love. I think this is my favorite of the Reckless MC series. Holden is such a substantive guy, such a complicated but lovable person, who's just trying to start over after having been deployed and seeing all the horrors that war brings. I admit I wasn't too fond of Aspen for much of this story, but she more than redeemed herself by the end, and she and Hunter make a great couple. Margo thinks Rourke is as much a victim as she. Oh sure, she's pretty sure he's not exactly a saint, being that he's most likely as much a mobster as the men who kidnapped them, but he at least appears to be a stand up guy. Review of Holiday Havoc (Reckless Bastards MC Book 7) by KB Winters When new Reckless Bastards member, Stitch, gets his club mixed up with the cartel, thanks to his newest woman, will it ruin not only their holiday season, but their entire lives? This holiday offering from KB Winters is a nice way to bring back all the old members of the Reckless Bastards, and introduce some new ones like Stitch and Gunnar. Max & Jana, Golden Boy (Tate) & Teddy, Savior & Mandy, Lasso (Dallas) & Rocky, Jag & Vivi, and Cross & Moon all get their own POVs and it wraps up with some wonderful news and a great HEA for most of them. I'm not sure if Stitch and his woman are going to get their own story, but I hope so because I loved meeting them here in Holiday Havoc. Gunnar, too, could do with someone to love, to give his grumpy ass some peace. I've loved the Reckless Bastards series, and it was nice to get a book with all of them in it. Review of Creatively Crushed (Reckless Bastards MC Book 6) by KB Winters Cross, Prez of Reckless Bastards MC, might seem an odd match for hippie dippy Moon, but once they connect for some casual, but explosive, fun, it's obvious that they are perfect together. Cross is feeling like a failure lately, what with being unable to protect his club like he thinks he should have, and his stress is slowly but surely overtaking his life. That Moon is able to bring him some peace is surprising to him. When the two keep coming into contact, thanks to one of his brothers' wives (Jana from Beautifully Broken), being shot while at her shop, they can't seem to keep their hands off each other. But, as Moon soon finds out, Cross is still in love with his dead wife, and Moon knows she deserves better than being second place to a ghost. So she's trying to keep her heart from falling for Cross. Cross doesn't think he's good enough for Moon, nor does he want to keep bringing...
