Review of Every Other Weekend by Jaxson Kidman God, Jaxson Kidman must hate me and all his readers or something, because every single damn time his writing tears my heart out. Every Other Weekend , like all his stories, is beautifully raw and real, and broke my heart with its sheer intensity. Ramsey and Jordyn's story is my favorite Jaxson story since Dear Everly . Ramsey and Jordyn had an arrangment, but as arrangements are wont to do, it changed. Changed because feelings. Because. Somehow Ramsey meets Jordyn's young son and that's where the change started. She hadn't wanted them to meet, but you know, life doesn't always go the way you want it to. And that right there is part of why I love this (and all of Jaxson's writing), because he doesn't shy away from telling it like it is, making his characters behave in ways that we all behave, in realistic ways. Review of Nobody Else (Somebody, Nobody Duet Book 2) by Jaxson Kidman Nobody Else and Somebody Else are most definitely Jaxson's best writing to date. Brice and Kinsley's story is so brutally real and raw, and so melancholy. I know I always go on and on about how much Jaxson rips my heart out when I review his stuff, but it's just so true, and nowhere is that more true than in this duet. I could feel Jaxson's heart bleeding out of my Kindle all through this entire duet, but I think it resonated most with me here in the conclusion. There are so many demons haunting this couple, if only they could just get on the same page, maybe they could heal each other, healing they both desperately need and never really got when they were together previously. I won't spoil what happens, so just let me say this: Brice and Kinsley's story will kick you in the gut, shred your heart, but maybe, just maybe, you'll have a smile on your face at the end of it. Review of Somebody Else (Somebody, Nobody Duet Book 1) by Jaxson Kidman Brice and Kinsley broke my heart and I've got to admit that even by the end of Somebody Else, my heart still hasn't healed. I don't want to spoil anything, so just let me say that, as per usual with Jaxson's writing, Somebody Else is heartbreakingly sad, poignant and beautiful, and Jaxson's obviously sensitive soul shines through every single word of Brice and Kinsley's story. They had a beautiful life together until tragedy tore it apart, tore them apart. Now years later, they have a chance to put things right, to have the future they always dreamed of. But there are other people in their lives that make that future impossible. Will they end up together? Or will the others in their lives have their way? Have their say?
