Review: Review: Play Mine (Brooklyn Dawn #3) by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott PLAY MINE (BROOKLYN DAWN #3) by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott Amazon US / Amazon UK / Amazon CA / Amazon AU / BN / Apple / Kobo / International Teagan running to close friend, Cooper, one night in fear, is the catalyst for the turn in their relationship. Unbeknown to either, they each had harbored more than friendly feelings for the other. When Teagan comes to him looking for comfort after something spooks her, Cooper can no longer hold back his feelings for her - both the protective and the more than friendly kind. Can they keep it on the down low from their band, Brooklyn Dawn? Can Cooper protect his love when the same menace that's been terrorizing the band comes after her? Cooper and Teagan are perfect for each other. He's alpha protective and can hold his own with Teagan, who may come across at first as soft and pliant, but actually is quite strong and sassy when she feels he's...

Review: Play Fast (Brooklyn Dawn #2) by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott

Review: Play Fast (Brooklyn Dawn #2) by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott PLAY FAST (BROOKLYN DAWN #2) Amazon Since she joined Brooklyn Dawn's tour as their hair and makeup artist, Oz has been avoiding her and she's done with it. So she decides to steal Oz's truck to get him to finally talk to her, and it sets off a chain of reactions that will change their lives in ways they never saw coming. She's tired of Oz ignoring her, and she wants someone to just talk to about the mutual person in their lives - her best friend and his sister, who died in Daisy's arms. But is she prepared for Oz? The rockstar? The man she's always loved as more than just her best friend's brother? One thing's for sure - Oz isn't prepared for Daisy. He's sworn off love and feelings, but Daisy has always gotten under his skin, and her joining his tour has done more than get under his skin. He's not sure how to handle exactly how he feels about her, what her presence ...

Review: Manaconda (Hammered #1) by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott

Review: Manaconda (Hammered #1) by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott MANACONDA Hunter's less than thrilled that his um masculine appendage has been nicknamed Manaconda. Most men, especially rockstars, would be thrilled at all the attention it's garnered, but not Hunter. But at least it's brought him his new PR handler, Kennedy. Kennedy who does not want to be attracted to her new client, but she is. So what are the two going to do about that attraction? I love Hunter and Kennedy together! She's sharp and she's tough, and I love how hard she made him work to get back into her good graces. And I love that Hunter isn't the typical rockstar. Oh sure, he's cocky and persistent, but he isn't an asshole player, he's just a guy who happens to front a famous band, and happens to be in love with his woman. The rockstar world Cari and Taryn have created is one of my all time favorites in all of rockstar fiction. Hunter and Kennedy, the rest of Hammered (...

Review: Play Dirty (Brooklyn Dawn Book 1) by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott

Review: Play Dirty (Brooklyn Dawn Book 1) by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott PLAY DIRTY (BROOKLYN DAWN #1) Lindsey wasn't looking for Nash, but when she found him in that club, she let him have his way with her one night, and it ruined her in the best of ways. Still, years later, she and Nash aren't exactly friends, more like enemies, whose attraction is even hotter than Brooklyn Dawn's music, and is begging to be consummated. Not everyone wants them together, though, and he or she will do anything to keep them apart. Looks like I have another rockstar series to fall in love with cuz this first installment of Brooklyn Dawn is rockstar romance at its best! It's suspenseful, a bit angsty, and beyond sexy. Nash is a broken, damaged man who really needed a bright light like Lindsey. She's perfect for him - sweet but tough, and patient enough to wait him out even though his push and pull messed with her head (and heart) more than a little at times. "There wi...

Currently Reading: Play Dirty (Brooklyn Dawn Book 1) by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott Goodreads: http://bit.ly/2HqRoPu Run, he whispered in my ear. While you still can. I walked into a club called Ruin and found it—and him—when he bent me over the piano he was playing. I did as he said, but not until after he’d decimated me in the filthiest way possible. I loved every second. That one, and the ones that came years later. When he sang with me against his will, although the words burned and the scar tissue left him raw. Nash has secrets, deadly ones, and he won’t let me in. He just gives me dirty little tastes of him that make me desperate for more. To the world, I’m on top. The lead singer of a famous rock band. With Nash, I don’t mind getting on my knees. But someone is watching us. And our stalker isn’t content to stay on the sidelines any longer. The curtain is about to rise. Win, lose...or die. Author’s note: Play Dirty is a standalone enemies to l...

Review: Rockstar Baby (Crescent Cove Book 6) by Taryn Quinn

Review of Rockstar Baby (Crescent Cove Book 6) by Taryn Quinn ROCKSTAR BABY When Rory gets stuck in Crescent Cove thanks to a snow storm, thank God that he had met Ivy at the diner where she waitresses, because it meant they could indulge in a little fun that night while they waited out the storm. Ivy knows better than to take the most most mind-blowing night she'd ever had as something more than casual. After all, Rory's an LA man, a music producer/rockstar, and certainly isn't planning on sticking around Crescent Cove for any longer than it takes for him to help out Kellan. But, her body can't seem to get with the program, and she keeps letting him back into her bed whenever he comes around. Until she doesn't. Until he lets her down so badly that she knows she can't rely on him to be a co-parent with her. So she steels her heart against him, should she ever see him again. Will Rory get his head out of his ass and step up, or will Ivy be forced to do ev...

Review: Paradise in Oblivion (Christmas with a Rock Star) by Taryn Elliott & Cari Quinn

Review of Paradise in Oblivion (Christmas with a Rock Star) by Taryn Elliott & Cari Quinn Hot on the heels of Rock Redemption comes this short holiday story, and it is the perfect way to give Ian and Simon's redemption story a fun twist. Both couples, plus Nick and Li, are away on a tropical island to spend their Christmas. Margo's hugely pregnant, but not expecting to have the baby until well after they're all back home. Zoe and Ian have some surprising news for everyone. And Li and Nick are wondering (hoping) if perhaps more babies are in their future. I loved seeing Ian and Simon getting along and making significant strides toward repairing their relationship. Nick's snark and sarcasm didn't help matters, but he's just being the protective friend/brother he's always been to Simon. And Margo really shows her true gentle, accepting nature as she accepts Zoe's news with grace. And Li? She's as steadfast and there as always. And through it...

Review: Rock Redemption: Rockstar Romantic Suspense (Rock Revenge Book 3) by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott

Review of  Rock Redemption (Rock Revenge Book 3)  by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott Seriously, this trilogy ROCKS! (I know, I know...but I couldn't resist! 🎸😍) At the beginning of Rock Redemption, things are crazy upside down, and the that's what the first part of this conclusion does - resolves the insanity that happened at the end of Rock Reclaimed. I have to say that the action here is top notch. Aidan Roth and his team are on the job and whew, those guys are badass! I want an entire series dedicated to just them. *Hint Hint* Anyway, then onto the emotional part and Ian and Zoe's story plays out. But not just Ian and Zoe's. This isn't just about Ian's redemption - everyone is having to come to terms with their new reality with new people in the mix and how to figure out their new dynamic, both familial and rockstar. Cari and Taryn's rockstar reads are some of my favorite reads of all time, but I really think this trilogy is some of their best...

Review: Pit Stop: Baby! (Dirty DILFs Book 4) by Taryn Quinn

Review of Pit Stop: Baby! (Dirty DILFs Book 4) by Taryn Quinn Who knew a hot one night stand would end up leading to so much?! Certainly not Gage and Rylee when they indulged after a fun bet on a game of darts. But when they meet up later, Rylee's not exactly feeling the hot guy she hooked up with before knowing he was her brother in law's brother (Dare from Who's the Daddy). Yikes... Rylee's finally (maybe?) settling into this small town, near her sister, and with a new job and a new place. And then Gage rolls into town and upsets her fragile peace. But her body can't resist him for very long and soon they're giving into their attraction all over the place. Seems like fun, and it was until she ended up pregnant. Pregnant by Mr. one and done, race car driver himself. The man who doesn't do commitment and doesn't stick around. But for Rylee and his soon to come baby, he just might stick around. Scratch that, he will definitely stick around. Now if...

Review: Finding Forever by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott

5 beautiful, rocking stars! Ever since the accident that turned their lives upside down, the members of Warning Sign have been trying to find their way. Their way back to their band. Their way back to themselves. Their way back to their loves. Jules and Tris are struggling. They miss Sparks, their other half. They've each got huge doses of survivor's guilt. But at least Jules is carrying the only piece of Randy they have left. She is starting to realize how disconnected and numb she's been since the accident and she knows she needs to re-connect with the other half of her heart - Tristan. Can they make it work as a duo when things had been "so knotted up between them that the three of them were always involved." Mal and Elle are dealing with their own survivor's guilt and feeling perhaps as if maybe Mal saved the wrong person, or at least they think perhaps Jules feels Mal saved the wrong person. Plus, Elle has been in physical rehab for months trying to ...
