Review of Ben (The 13 Book 4) by Anne L. Parks Apparently this is part of a series, had I known this before, I would not have reviewed it, as it's obvious I'd be coming into a story without knowing everything that happened beforehand. That said, I did enjoy this short, action-packed little story. It felt more like a thriller than a romance, and it's obvious that Mia and Ben had a lot going on with them before this installment. In this installment, Mia is testifying at a trial when everything comes crashing down around her. Will Ben rescue her before her captor kills her? Will he even know where she's being imprisoned? Once I got past the fact that this was part of an ongoing story, I decided to figure out if I liked it or not. I did, but it's far too short and under-developed, so I am assuming that Mia and Ben's characters and story were detailed much more in earlier installments. I hope so at least, because here there's barely a glimpse of them befor...
