Review: Falling for the Playboy (Bedtime Reads Book 2) by Kennedy Fox

Review of Falling for the Playboy (Bedtime Reads Book 2) by Kennedy Fox

Olivia's met many a male model and not been all that impressed by them. But when her slave driver of a boss demands she go on a road trip with Maverick, the cover model exclusive to her boss' latest romance series, suddenly those washboard abs and charming grin are getting under her skin.

Maverick is instantly attracted to Olivia, and riling her up is just the way to get a reaction out of the seemingly uptight workaholic assistant he's on a road trip with. He finds he loves sparring with her and getting under her skin. It proves she's just as attracted to him as he is to her, right? He never in a million years imagined he'd end up falling for her along the way. But getting Olivia on the same page as he just may be an impossible task, as she's wound up tight, and not about to break her boss' rule of no fraternization with the models.

Falling for the Playboy is witty, snarky, sexy fun. I loved their banter and Olivia's reactions to Maverick's charming but so typically male remarks. Their chemistry was hot and I can honestly understand just why Olivia couldn't help but to fall for this particular playboy!

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
