Review of Catch (A Hell's Harlem Novel Book 3) by J.M. Walker
Ah Catch! My sweet, damaged Catch. His story is finally here, and with it, the end of the Hell's Harlem MC series. These men of Hell's Harlem and the women they love are all so amazing, but I will freely admit that from the time he first appeared on page, Catch caught my interest. After reading of his heartbreak in Tray, I was devastated for him and so wanted him to find happiness with someone who deserved him. And that woman is his sweet Cherry, aka Sara. She broke his heart when they were young, and he's never gotten over it. It shaped him into the man he is today. So when she walks back into his life, I was kinda sorta not wanting to like her at first, but I couldn't help but see in her what Catch saw in her way back when. And when her heartbreaking backstory came out, yeah, I definitely loved her because it turned her into the strong survivor she is in the present.
I'm so sad that Hell's Harlem has come to an end, but if J.M. had to end it, I'd say Catch and Cherry's story was a perfect story to conclude it with. Like all of J.M.'s writing, especially her MC series, it's gritty and raw, steamy and heartbreaking. But it's beautiful in its own right and I so loved seeing Catch finally find his peace, find the happiness he so deserved.
