Review of Baby Mine: Hunter & Lennon, #1 (Roommate Duet #1) by Kennedy Fox
When Hunter spies a gorgeous woman at the bar where he bartends, it's lust at first sight for him. But by the time he closes up and looks for her, she's nowhere to be found. Nowhere that is, until he gets home and finds that same gorgeous woman in his kitchen after having just spent the night with his best friend and roommate. Ouch...
Lennon definitely had a moment with the muscular tatted up hottie tending bar that night, but when she met Brandon, she had more than a moment, and proceeded to fall in love with him. Then moved in with him and spent the next few years being tormented by the muscular tatted up hottie who's been her roommie and chief annoyance. She never knew Hunter's real feelings for her, instead was forced to spend her time watching as woman after woman waltzed into and out of his bedroom, watched as he lived like a slob and took jabs at her as often as possible, and watched as she feel deeper into love with Brandon and deeper into dislike with Hunter.
But now, a tragic loss has happened and suddenly Lennon and Hunter are forced into a new reality where they rely on each other and grieve together and separately. What happens when feelings Lennon never expected start developing, and Hunter shows his true, compassionate, sweet self? And then what happens after that bombshell drops at the end during one heck of a cliffhanger?!
Gah, I love Baby Mine! Hunter and Lennon's relationship is such a roller coaster of emotions, and I felt so badly for both of them, especially Hunter, having been forced to watch the woman he loved be so in love with his best friend. Dang... and then that awful cliffhanger, and now I'm dying because I have to know what's going to happen, NOW! May cannot come soon enough for this woman!
