Review of Gideon (Finding Home Book 3) by Lily Morton

GIDEON

When Gideon becomes seriously ill, an at-home-care nurse is hired for him, and to Gideon's manager's horror, the nurse is a very attractive younger guy. For most of his life, Gideon has bowed to his manager's wishes, but in this instance, keeping nurse Eli was something both Gideon and his brother, Milo, were adamant about. So he stayed. And changed both his own, and Gideon's, lives, all for the better.

Although I haven't read any of the other books in this series, I have read, (AND ABSOLUTELY LOVED!) Rule Breaker, from her other series, Mixed Messages, so I anticipated that I'd be getting another wonderful read, and that's exactly what I got. Gideon is a slow burn, companion to lovers love story. Gideon for much of the first part of the story, was a spoiled (but hiding his pain) douche, so it was nice to read as he emerged from that asshole shell, and into his true skin, showed his true colors as a fabulous, loving man. And Eli? Well, Eli was just about perfect from the get go - sweet but strong, and perfect for strong-willed Gideon.

If you have any interest in MM fiction, I highly recommend you download a copy of Gideon, you won't regret it!

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
