Review of Hurricane Hearts: A Motorcycle Club Romance (Storm MC Reloaded Book 2) by Nina Levine

HURRICANE HEARTS

Winter's back and Birdie is trying her damndest to resist the man, but her body and heart just cannot seem to go along with that idea. After all, he's the only man she's ever loved, will ever love. And he's doing HIS damndest to get past her defenses. She knows it's only a matter of time before she's falling back into him. If only she didn't have a huge secret. A secret she kept from him years ago. A secret that will irrevocably change how he sees how, how he feels about her.

Gaaaawwwd I LOVE Birdie and Winter! They are so perfect for each other. He so alpha and possessive with a huge, soft heart. She so sassy and determined to keep the love of her life from finding out why she really left him 5 years ago. I admit to shedding a few tears as her secret came out, right when Winter was in the thick of a tragedy that no one should have to face, yet everyone eventually has to suffer through. Gah, it was heartbreaking reading of his anger and hurt as she blurted out her secret, and then Birdie hurting right along with him, knowing she had to give him space to deal, even when the first thing she wanted to do was comfort him even though she was the cause of his pain. Nina Levine's stories area always emotional and feature strong, passionate characters, but I think I can safely say that Winter and Birdie are her two best characters yet and I have stuck them on my very small Favorites shelf, where they're joined by only a few special men and women. Thank you Nina for this heartbreaking, beautiful story.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
