Review of Nixon's Promise (Gemini Group Book 1) by Riley Edwards
Nixon can't get McKenna off his mind, and when her brother, Zack, makes a concerted effort at bonding with him, Nixon knows it's an opening into getting to know the feisty McKenna. Sure, he may not end up getting the peace and quiet he had been hoping for when he came home from retiring from the SEALs, but it's more than worth it to get the chance at getting to know McKenna and her brother and sister. But what about when he has the chance at working with his old team again? What about when a danger from his past is intent on getting to him through the family he's fallen in love with?
I haven't read anything else by Riley Edwards, but after having read and fallen in love with Nixon, McKenna and their crew, I will be keeping her on my lookout list because Nixon's Promise is a fabulous start to a new series. It's sexy, emotionally driven and all the characters are so well fleshed out that I felt like I was right there with them. I cannot wait for James' story next!
