Atticus Creed saved my life. His voice talked me down. His lyrics stripped me bare. His tattoos against my hidden scars made me feel beautiful. In turn, I wrecked him with a love that exposed his soul and lies that called to his vilest demons. We were innocent then.
Now I’m a young mogul who reigns over the corrupt record label he abandoned, and he’s a tortured musician who wants retribution as viciously as I want another taste of his lips. Inevitably, he will crash in my arms, and I will burn in his.
Depravity is all we know. It’s in the air we breathe, it’s in our sweat, it’s the music we make.

MY REVIEW
Wow, for a debut novel, Breakdown is seriously good! Depraved, dirty, and filthy, but damn good!
I admit to being a tad confused at first, but what I ended up taking away from Breakdown is a tale of lies, betrayal, MONEY, power and lots and lots of lust. Oh, and some love, too. Sophie and Atticus definitely love each other, but honestly, that's not the whole, or the most important part, of this story.
If you are someone who likes their "romance" safe and heartwarming, then Breakdown is not the story for you. If, however, you, like myself, like things on the gritty, dirty side, then I highly recommend you dive into Breakdown.
