Charlie is back home in her small hometown. It's not where she saw herself in the future, but you gotta do what you gotta do when life gets you down. Unfortunately, the man who broke her heart first, in a huge way, still lives there, and Charlie knows she'll eventually have to face Owen. But when she does finally see him, she knows she's not about to let him back into her life and her heart.

Owen never got over Charlie, has always loved her, and always will. Every day since he walked away from her, he's regretted it. Now that she's back in town, he's determined to get her back, prove to her he's changed and can give her what she wanted back when he broke her heart. All he has to do is scale those walls. Easy enough...


Fight Dirty is a wonderful second chance romance. Owen is so sweet, so damn swoony and charming. But Charlie is more than his equal. She's amazing - sweet and strong, and smart. I love how their story developed, how their obvious love for each other had never disappeared, and how Owen never once backed down in his persistence. If all the Dawson Family stories are this good, then I will be reading them all!
