When Peaches, Vivi's best friend from Heavenly Hacked (Reckless Bastards MC #5) finds trouble thanks to her latest job, Vivi suggests Gunnar's new place in Opey, Texas. Peaches isn't exactly thrilled with the idea considering Gunnar hates her for what he perceives as Peaches' endangering his kid sister, Maisie. But, she really has nowhere else to go, so she knows it's Gunnar's new ranch for her, even if only for a few days.


Trouble soon follows her, though, and Peaches knows she has to leave in order to protect not only Gunnar, the man her body craves and her heart is falling for, but even more importantly, Maisie, the adorable little girl who's stolen everyone's hearts.


Gunnar's mind and heart are at odds with his body. He can't help but want Peaches. Her curves distract him to no end. Her mouth drives him absolutely nuts. And her very existence puts his little sister, himself, and his new brothers all in danger. So what's a poor guy to do when Cross, his old Prez from the Vegas chapter of Reckless Bastards, begs him to keep Peaches safe? Will he man up and protect his woman? Or let her run off to save everyone from the trouble that's followed her?

I think Tempted is my favorite KB Winters' MC story yet. Gunnar and Peaches are a compelling, passionate enemies to lovers couple. She's so feisty and independent, and determined to keep her life and her heart safe. Gunnar is so alpha and determined to keep Peaches from being anything more than a distraction. I loved the push and pull, the snarky banter, and the chemistry they had in spades. And let's not forget all of Gunnar's new brothers. I'm dying for Cruz, Slayer, Saint, Wheeler and Holden's stories now.
