How do you chase wildfires without getting burned?
I went to Scotland to learn about the world, I never expected to find love.
Except, the one I’m meant to be with is also the person who hates me the most.
Isla.
Independent and free, like the rolling hills of her beloved Scottish Highlands.
She grew wild, like the heather she loved so much.
I want to cherish her, not own her, because wildfires aren’t meant to be tamed, but allowed to blossom. To burn bright and beautiful, without being held captive.
My only goal is to win her heart.
I just hope I don’t lose mine in the process.
Goodreads Review ➜ "Ben and Isla are fantastic. Chemistry is off the charts and the hate to love relationship is great."

J. Ockenhouse ➜ "The storytelling is full of vivid descriptions and takes you mentally away."
J. Lum resides in the Northern Virginia area. While she calls Virginia home, she is constantly on the go. She’s got a constant case of #Wanderlust; most of the time, you can find her traveling around the world to see her book besties or checking off her bucket list places. Her second home away from home is Hawaii, where her family is from. The love for the ocean runs through her veins, but if she could help things, she’d probably permanently live in Scotland. She also has a love of ALL pugs, unicorns, and anything chocolate. She and coffee have been having a love affair for many years.

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
