Born in the Mid-west E.M. was moved to Alaska as a young girl and counts it as her home. She's lived in the interior and even a western village, but currently resides between the largest city and the agriculture hub. Her oldest daughter just moved to Hawaii so she anticipates making lots of trips south to see her.
E.M. supports local writers through the local RWA chapter, The Alaska Writer's Guild and local NaNoWriMo events when she can. E.M.'s heart is in giving to the organizations that will someday find a cure for her middle daughters many medical conditions. She writes strong female characters because of her girls.
E.M. has always wanted to write but never took to paper like she did when she woke up from a dream that later became Sniper's Kiss. Now she is four books into a series that keeps talking and wanting its stories told. She's currently been doing research for another series but in the paranormal, dystopian, and mythic realms. She can't wait for her readers to get their hands on it.
