Elzira Whitestone became a queen and it killed the little girl inside her. But she always made sure to protect those she loved and had left - her sister and her father's most trusted warrior, Cavon. And she was a fierce and ice cold queen who ruled her land. Then one day King Bloodsun rode into her empire to speak to her. Will he leave having gotten what he wanted? Will Elzira allow him what he wants?
Holy smokes Batman, but this was AMAZING!! I will admit to not reading a lot of paranormal/fantasy stuff any longer, but I am glad I read this one because absolutely adored Cold Queen. It's pure entertainment from the first page clear to the last page of the sweet epilogue. Elzira may be a badass, fierce queen, but with her love, her king, by her side, she allows a different side of her to come out. It's like an episode of Game of Thrones at its best - sexy, riveting, and always giving you enough that you crave what comes next. I really hope K Webster has more planned for Elzira, Ryke and all their children and loved ones.
