MY REVIEW
Emma's finally decided she's ready to move on from her fiancé's death three years ago when she's attacked. Enter Detective Jake Quinn, the detective who worked her fiancé's case and is on her new case. She didn't count on the attraction to flare, and when she is in such close proximity to him after he moves her in to protect her, she's finally starting to see how good her life can be. But Jake's hiding things from her, he's told her he can't give her what she needs, and there's still the matter of the killer stalking her. Will Emma and Jake be able to make a relationship work, or will the killer have his way and take her away from Jake?
If you like good old fashioned romantic suspense, this is the story for you. It's fast paced, it's steamy and the emotional connection between Jake and Emma is as deep and intense as the physical one.

A lifelong resident of northern New Jersey, Dawn Altieri has been scribbling stories practically since birth. After reaching a milestone birthday (she won’t say which one), she figured it was about time she took a shot at writing professionally.
