Gianna (Gigi) is a studious college student who lives to get an internship, then a good job after school. But when she's offered a nanny position by her roommate's new boss, she is slowly persuaded when it becomes obvious that Max is in desperate need of someone to care for his baby daughter. She sure as hell wasn't expecting the attraction she would feel for him. And she definitely did not expect him to reciprocate or to act on his feelings. But how can Gigi think of giving herself to him if they've got an expiration date - when Max goes back home?
I usually love it when the stoic or cold alpha falls for the sweet woman who brings him to his knees. And I did like Tempt Me, I just did not love it because I didn't like or connect with Max. He's beyond cold, grumpy and a jackass. I loved Gigi, though, and she and Max's daughter more than make up for his asshole behavior. The story itself is good, though, it's steamy and the tension between Gigi and Max is delicious. I hope there's more to come in this Temptation series.
