Falling in love was the easy part.

Being secretly in love with my brother’s best friend is where it got tricky.

Levi Dent was off-limits. Which was probably for the best, since he barely knew I existed.

Until one night I saw an opportunity I couldn’t resist.

The problem was, I got caught.

She tricked me.

I knew there was something so familiar about her, but I just couldn’t resist.

Hannah Matthews was nothing more than my best friend’s little sister. Except she wasn’t so little anymore.

I need to forget all about her.

If only it were that easy...

MY REVIEW
When Hannah takes it upon herself to sneak into her longtime crush, Levi's pants, while it may have been the best sex of both their lives, it's not exactly the start of a beautiful relationship because Hannah is Levi's best friend's little sister, the little sister who is, and always has been, off-limits. Not to mention that he's now her mentor at her father's law firm, where she has just taken a paralegal position. Yep!

But suddenly Levi's seeing Hannah in a whole new light. She's not just Kip's plain little sister any longer. No, she's a smart, fierce and intelligent woman whose curves are calling Levi, best friend be damned...

There's someone out there, though, even aside from Kip, who doesn't want them together, and it will take all of Hannah and Levi's legal smarts to figure it out, and to stop them. Hopefully before things reach the point of no return.

Wow, this story really did not go the way I thought it would. I thought it would be kind of a fluffy piece of fun. And it is fun as the two banter back and forth while falling in love. But it also has suspense and intrigue that I had no idea would have any part in this story. But it's a very good thing, because it gave Hannah and Levi's story an added layer of depth, and made me like it even more. I think Hannah and Levi make a great couple. Their love story is sexy and suspenseful and has a great secondary cast. Speaking of...I hope their friend Chase gets his own story *hint hint*

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
