Two years I’ve searched.
Two years I’ve waited.
Two years I’ve longed to hold her.
Two years I’ve been patient.
Time’s up.
I’m bringing her home, where she belongs.

Bombs, car chases, and bar fights be damned. Axel Savage has lived his life by one code and one code alone—family above all else. Sometimes those closest to you are the ones that stick the knife the deepest.

Kelsey Loren thought she left all the trouble behind and started a new life someplace safe, someplace far away from it all. The truth is the monster she ran away from is the only one that can save her.

Redemption is coming and he’s bringing Hell with him. He’ll show them what it means to mess with a Savage.

She can fight it all she wants, but a Savage is exactly what she is. One he’ll die to protect—even if it means killing one of her own to do it.

***This book is a standalone and contains mature/graphic subject matter. For readers 18+***
MY REVIEW
As far as Axel's concerned, it's time for his love to come back home. It's been years since she ran, but now it's time for her to be where she belongs - by his side. Except it really will not be that easy because Kelsey ran for a reason, and Axel will have a serious fight on his hands getting her to trust him again. Yes, she needs his protection, but her trust? Yeah that's not going to be easy to come by. Especially when family dealings, action, and violence are still surrounding Axel, after all, it's his family's way...

I haven't read the first book in this series, and I probably should have, because I was a tad lost at times. But, I was able to pick up the gist of the story and enjoy it. It's intense and action packed, and Kelsey and Axel's connection is bone deep. They just had to figure everything out to make that second chance work for them. Zane's story is up next, and I can't wait for more Savage brothers now.

About the Author
Christine Besze is a writer, reader, mother, wife, and lover of all things wine. She lives in her own world of crazy most days, because the voices inside her head hold some great conversation. When she does have to come back to reality and act like an actual grown-up, she spends her time with her handsome hubby Z, their two gorgeous gingers and their mini-herd of German Shepherds. Born in sunny Southern California, she recently made the big leap with her family to the East Coast and couldn't be happier. You'll still find her in flip-flops--with a full glass of wine--all year round.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
