They told me to preserve the legacy.

MY REVIEW
When Dominic McCallum, who runs a tabloid style site, brings forth the newly found Alexandra Romanov to the world, he sets off a chain of reactions that nobody could have seen coming.

Angel was just a lowly waitress when Dominic plucked her from the diner and told her to be Alexandra. She didn't know what he was getting her into. Or did she? Is there something else going on that Dominic has no idea of? Or is it someone else pulling the strings?

Woo boy, this dark retelling of Anastasia is twisted! I have to first say I've never seen or read the original Anastasia story. I know, I know... anyway, that did not lessen my enjoyment and I was able to enjoy this crazy story as it is, on its own. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it drags in the first part and I felt it could have been trimmed down by a good quarter or so and it would have made the story tighter and would have given the twists even more impact. Aside from that, though, this twisty, crazy fairy tale is entertaining af.

Cora Kenborn is a USA Today Bestselling author who writes in multiple genres from dark and gritty romantic suspense to laugh-out-loud romantic comedy. Known for her sharp banter and shocking blindsides, Cora pushes her characters and readers out of their comfort zones and onto an emotional roller coaster before delivering a twisted happily ever after.

Cora believes there’s nothing better than a feisty heroine who keeps her alpha on his toes, and she draws inspiration from the sassy country women who raised her. However, since the domestic Southern Belle gene seems to have skipped a generation, she spends any free time convincing her family that microwaving Hot Pockets counts as cooking dinner.

Oh, and autocorrect thinks she's obsessed with ducks.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
