Lyric Cassidy promised herself she'd not date another rockstar, so what's she doing with Wolf, the lead singer of the band for whom she's to be the new road manager on tour with them. He's a typical rockstar - drinking and partying, lots of women for one night only, and everything that hurt her in the past. She shouldn't be with him, should stay as far from him as possible. Too bad her damn body can't get on the same page as her brain.

These two have to go through an extraordinary amount of obstacles, pain, and betrayal before they can even hope to find their happily ever after. Lyric will have to learn to trust Wolf with her secrets, Wolf will have to learn to believe in love, and they will have to rely on each other if they want to be happy together.

I read this duet back when both books were first released, and really liked the story. In this boxset with additional epilogues and bonus features, the story becomes even better and more well rounded. Lyric and Wolf have one of those epic rockstar loves, and it's stood the test of passing time and remains sexy, angsty and downright emotional.
