While she’d like to tell you she’s always loved reading, it just wouldn’t be true. Brooke O'Brien is the author of the Heart's Compass series, the Tattered Heart duet, and her newest release, BRIX, a stepbrother/bully romance.Growing up Brooke always had a love of writing; she started out writing poetry when she was young and began journaling her thoughts as she grew older. Diving headfirst into a good book has always been therapeutic for her. Now her two passions have collided.

She started single but the husband and then children joined in on the fun. She’s worked in engineering, then lawyer, then teacher, and finally novelist. She refused to one day turn 50 and realize she had nothing but her career and hours at a desk.
During all this time and travel, she always wrote stories to entertain herself or calm down.
