Cooper and Cadee have history, not the good kind. He, along with his friends, runs the school. What none of them knows is that there's someone behind the scenes holding the real power. Or is there? Is Cooper (and his friends) just a relentless bully without a redeeming quality? Why is he so set on tormenting Cadee?


Cadee's strong, though, and refuses to let them break her. Oh sure, they can torment her all they want, but she'll prevail in the end. But lest she forget, she does have a history with Cooper, and that means there are feelings there. Will their feelings be enough to protect her from the real threat? Will Cooper choose her or choose to keep tormenting her?


I seriously did not think there was any way a new kind of school bully romance could be written. There are so many these days, and they tend to run together in my mind. This one really stands out, though, because of the behind the scenes, in the shadows machinations. Cooper's not just a bully because of anger or any other numerous angsty emo reasons, he's got a solid reason for the bullying. It's just not revealed til quite late in the story. And when it's revealed...whoa!!


I loved this out of the box version of bully love. There are questions I want answered, though, which means I'm really, really anxiously awaiting the next installment of the Kings of High Court College series!
