When Trace first met and made a pass at Hollis, it didn't exactly go over well, which was, well, unexpected. As he's a big-time athlete, he's used to women falling over themselves to be near him. But this gorgeous, sassy woman wants nothing to do with him. Why?!? And how can he get her to go out with him?

Well, eventually, his big goofball style wears her down and she finds what's underneath that player facade is actually a big sweetheart. A dork for sure, but sweet with a big heart, one that is clearly enamored of her. Now if only they can either keep it from her dad, or, get him to be amenable to them being together. After all, he is Trace's boss...

I adored this funny, witty story that has not only lots of heat, but heart for miles. Hollis with all her down to earthy style and sass for days, and Trace with his player ways masking a big doof at heart who was head over heels for his girl. Swoon!
