MY REVIEW
The night Cristina lost her mother and brother to an accident, she lost something she wasn't aware she lost - her free will. And now, a few hours before her 18th birthday, he's come for her, to claim what's his, to claim what's owed to him - her.

Cristina may be young, but she's no fainting wallflower, though. Though she may belong to Damian now, that does not mean Cristina isn't going to stand up for herself, fight against how she's being forced to live, all because people in her life made choices that have consequences she really shouldn't have to take responsibility for.

There's just one little hitch (aside from the obvious, big thing) in Cristina's plan to stand up for herself, and that's that her body is seriously drawn to Damian and his brand of dark sensuality. She will have to find a way to keep her heart from being broken when Damian's will begins to overcome hers. Will she succeed or will she be left broken when it becomes obvious he doesn't care one bit about her?

Whew. Unholy Union is freaking intense! Damian and Cristina's chemistry is crazy sexy, their clash of wills is delicious, and that cliffhanger really, really got me good. Anti-hero stories, stories of debt collection, these themes can be ridiculous if the writer doesn't have a deft hand, doesn't have the chops to walk the line between good and bad, dark and light. Natasha is one of the best dark romance writers around, so it's no surprise that I loved Unholy Union. She gave us a villainous anti-hero to be sure, but I saw glimpses of something in him that give me hope he'll redeem himself in Unholy Intent. I am anxiously awaiting its arrival on my Kindle, September better get here quickly!

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
