Review & Release Blitz: Fastball Flirt (Boys of Summer #1) by Kelsey Cheyenne

Release Date: September 10
It was meant to be a fling...

One hot summer with a major league flirt.

The star pitcher with chocolatey brown hair, eyes to match, and a body I drooled over.

I wanted to have fun, make once in a lifetime memories, travel across the country.

I didn't mean to fall in love.

I had dreams to fulfill and goals to achieve.

I had a plan.

But plans have a bad habit of falling apart.

MY REVIEW
Lila has a plan for her life: graduate from college and become a nurse. Meeting a gorgeous baseball player was not in her plans. Hollis is charming and sweet, but Lila is not about to allow him to get in the way of her dreams. Will she break his heart right as their relationship is getting serious?

Sigh...Lila frustrated the hell out of me! She really needed a baseball to knock some sense into her. You can have a career AND a relationship. It's called working at the relationship, enduring distance if necessary. You don't just ditch someone because things are not going according to your plan. Yikes. But aside from Lila's stupid hard head, I liked this story. It's sweet, sexy, and Hollis especially stood out and made the story for me with his sweet and swoony self. He actually deserved someone better suited to him than Lila, but if he loved her then I guess she gets a pass from me.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
