Vanessa and Liam have been friends too long to let a little line crossing change their relationship. Right? Wrong. Because one (both) of them has more than friendly feelings toward the other and will need him to make up his indecisive mind about what (whom) he wants. Before time runs out. Because there is most definitely a clock ticking in the background, even if Liam isn't aware of it.

First off, I gotta say that I loved Vanessa. She's tough, strong, independent and smart. She didn't have a great childhood but hasn't let that get her down or judge others who had it easier than she did. She's going for what she wants and doesn't let anyone stand in her way. Unfortunately for her, the man she loves is an idiot. I'm sorry, but Liam is. He is just so freakin indecisive that it drove me nuts. Quite frankly, I think Vane could do much better than Liam. But because she loves him he gets a tiny pass from me. Aside from Liam though, I liked everything else about this fabulous friends to more love story. It's entertaining and so well developed, and the chemistry between Vanessa and Liam is electric. This definitely will not be the last I read of this author's writing.
