MY REVIEW
The only bright spot of Lottie's day is when she gets off the subway and hears the music of a certain street musician. Something about the beautiful sound soothes her in a way nothing else does. It's the only time she feels at peace. Then she has to go home, sleep, then wake up and spend another stressful day at a job she hates at a company where her father presides over her with nothing but coldness in his eyes. She's not sure how much longer she can handle being there knowing how much she disappoints him, has always disappointed him since the day her match did not help her brother to live.
"Your music brings me such peace, Logan. It's the one thing I look forward to every day. I can't begin to express how much it means to me."
"I play it only for you."
And then one day that beautiful musician speaks to her, and takes her to eat, and something opens up inside her, a warmth she hasn't felt in far too long. Logan's been watching over the beautiful woman who has such sadness emanating from her. He plays for her, and her only, and now he intends on exploring what's between them now that they've shared a meal and a few words. She just needs to realize how far he'll go to protect her, bring life back to her beautiful eyes.

Sniffle sniffle! This story really hit me in the heart. It brought more than one tear from my eyes because it was just so beautiful. I absolutely could not get enough of Logan and Lottie, how he was so gentle and loving with her, but deliciously dirty at the same time. The way he protected her from her awful parents, and finally, the way Lottie blossomed in his presence. Melanie always writes with heart, but this story has an extra helping of that heart, along with smokin' chemistry, and the sweetest epilogue, ever. I'm going to remember Logan and Lottie for a really long time.
