Vera has been groomed all her life to be a good girl, to marry well, all to befit her family's status. Rebelling one night might actually be a godsend when the man she despises, her jerk boss, ends up offering her a marriage of convenience. Neither wants a real relationship, so a convenient one should suit them. Until feelings start developing and the unstable foundation that marriage is built on starts to crumble. Will Vera ever forgive Nico for his lies?

I love enemies to lovers and marriage of convenience tropes, and when combined, even better. Blame it on the Champagne has all tension and the snark that comes with both tropes, it's seriously sexy every time Nico opens his dirty mouth, and the relationship development is actually paced well, which is sometimes forgotten about in romance. I cannot wait for more of this series, I can already tell that Nova and her rockstar are gonna be just as delicious as Vera and Nico.
Meet Fiona
Fiona Cole is a military wife and a stay at home mom with degrees in biology and chemistry. As much as she loved science, she decided to postpone her career to stay at home with her two little girls, and immersed herself in the world of books until finally deciding to write her own.
