Ah. Christmas.
The most miserable time of the year.
Elizabeth hated it. She had too much work to do to stop and hang lights or wrap presents or waste time beneath the mistletoe.
Or maybe she hated it—and especially the mistletoe—because she didn’t have anyone to kiss.
Yeah, maybe that, too.
Either way, she didn’t have the time or energy to dawdle at a Christmas party at Roosevelt Ranch. Unfortunately, the business demanded it, and because her life was the business, she’d gone in with the intention to get in, get out, and get back to work.
Except that plan was derailed by a flat tire, a broken doorknob, and . . . an extremely handsome mechanic.
But perhaps the best laid plans were made to be broken, especially when this Christmas might prove to warm even her Scroogey heart.

MY REVIEW
Elizabeth may think the hot mechanic looks like Idris Elba, and she's grateful he fixed her tire, but she is definitely not looking forward to Christmas in this small town. Except something about the warmth of Dale and his town seems to be warming her Grinchey heart and she finds herself wanting more than just business. Can she bring herself to stick around and see where these new feelings might lead her?
Christmas at Roosevelt Ranch is a sweet holiday novella. I really liked how sweet and straightforward Dale is. I never really warmed up to the snooty, Scroogey Elizabeth, but Dale is a wonderful enough character on his own that he made up for any negativity she brought.
