MY REVIEW
Julian's life has bottomed out. His previous band crashed and burned, and now he's trying to make his way back up the ladder. Then his sleazy brother-in-law leaves his angry young niece with him right before the performance he's trying to use as his way back in. So it's an underestimate to say he's got the weight of the world on his chest. Then he's confronted by his angry but gorgeous neighbor and finds she's the assistant to the musician he's to work with. How will that pan out when they can barely stand the sight of each other, even as they're wildly attracted to each other?
I can't imagine how hard it was for Julian to take on his angry at the world niece all while trying to figure out his new life and future. The way he and Hadley met had me wondering how the two would ever be a couple, but true to form, Aly made me believe in them, root for them the whole time. I loved their story - it was an emotional roller coaster, it was steamy, and most of all, the way Julian and Hadley bonded with, and made a family with Julian's niece was beautiful.
