Review / Release Blitz: Behind the Flame (Everyday Heroes World) by Renee Harless

Renee Harless' Behind the Flame is an alluring, sexy, suspenseful, small-town romance written in K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes Worlds project.

Things heat up. . . behind the flame.

From raging wildfires to losing his wife and daughter in a nasty divorce, Ridge Connelly has been burned. Fighting fires is in his blood, but fighting for his daughter is his reason for living.

When she's left on his doorstep with a note from his ex to keep her safe, he takes Delilah home to North Carolina to protect her. From what. . . he doesn't know yet.

A caregiver by trade, River Matthews has always put others first, ignoring her own needs, but her sexy new neighbor has her rethinking things where he's concerned.

The dedicated single dad is needing a sitter and she can't help but fall for the sweet baby girl or her daddy.

An unknown threat lurks in the shadows waiting to strike.

Just when things start heating up between Ridge and River, the past explodes around them, reminding him of everything that's at stake.

MY REVIEW
Ridge's move to be near his Uncle and Aunt, to start over and raise his daughter, is the best decision he ever made once he meets his beautiful new neighbor, River. River's moved to Carson to start over, too, and when her gorgeous neighbor helps her carry her things in out of the rain, she's instantly attracted. And even more so when she meets his adorable baby daughter. But is Ridge willing to put River first and make her a priority? She's not sure, so a casual arrangement will have to suffice for now.

Ridge is starting to realize just how important River is to him when something happens that puts his feelings (and hers) in the front of their minds. Is an epiphany for both of them enough to make casual into more?

This is a sweet, sexy story with a bit of suspense thrown in. I really liked it, and River and Ridge along with baby Delilah. I can tell there's a whole world already in this story and can't wait to read more about the people who live there.

Meet Renee
Renee Harless is a romance writer with an affinity
for wine and a passion for telling a good story.

Renee Harless, her husband, and children live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She studied Communication, specifically Public Relations, at Radford University.

Growing up, Renee always found a way to pursue her creativity. It began by watching endless runs of White Christmas- yes even in the summer – and learning every word and dance from the movie. She could still sing "Sister Sister" if requested. In high school, she joined the show choir and a community theatre group, The Troubadours. After marrying the man of her dreams and moving from her hometown she sought out a different artistic outlet – writing.

To say that Renee is a romance addict would be an understatement. When she isn’t chasing her kids around the house, working her day job, or writing, she jumps head first into a romance novel.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
