MY REVIEW
Chloe's a strong single mom doing what she has to to make ends meet when she meets a hot shot surgeon, Rhys. Unfortunately, that meeting does not give Chloe a good impression of him. That's why it's really too bad she ends up being his mother's caretaker while she recovers at home. Their second meeting isn't any better, well, it is in one way *ahem* but then he's back to being Dr. Jackass and Chloe's wondering how she'll survive being in the same room as him without smacking him.

Rhys has closed himself off to relationships, his heart is not open for business. So when a gorgeous woman storms into his life, it's all he can do to keep his hands off her and to keep his heart from falling, because he can't offer her forever, even if he wanted to. Will Chloe and Rhys end up with broken hearts or is there a chance of happiness for them?

I was definitely not expecting Hot Shot Hero to be such a tearjerker, let me tell you, you'll need a box of tissues while reading, so be forewarned. But don't let that deter you, because this is an excellent addition to the Cocky Hero Club. It's emotionally intense, it's seriously sexy, and one little girl steals the show with every scene she's in.
