MY REVIEW
Jake and Hanna have been dancing around their intense attraction for a long time until they finally give in. But being together is uh, complicated let's say. He's a single dad whose daughter is marrying her uh, brother let's say. Yeah. Not to mention they live in two completely different cities, cities not exactly near each other. But when a very unexpected, but welcome, thing happens, merging their lives will become necessary. They can handle it, will handle it, willingly. Can this couple find something very real and permanent at this time in their lives?
I sooo love Jake and Hanna together! They're both so sweet, and no one is more deserving of happiness than these two. When she becomes pregnant, Jake could have been the dreaded deadbeat so many men are, but he handled the unexpected with care and gentle love the way I expected him to, the way Hanna deserved for him to. Their story has been a long time in coming, both being so present throughout this series, and I'm glad Helena framed it so well, with the maturity their ages brings, but with the heat and the serious heart they both had in spades.
