They say the best way to get over one man is to get under another one… and another. And another.

I’m on the wrong side of my quarter-life crisis. Dead-end job, lease ending, and single af. It’s made all the harder by knowing exactly who the perfect man for me is: my super hot, incredibly kind, and extremely taken friend Austin. What’s a girl to do but drown her troubles in pinot and let her bestie open her an account on a dating app?

If there are other men for me out there, I’m determined to find them. Spring is for new beginnings, and Finn’s abs are a perfect introduction to dating.

Unless, of course, perfection is as overrated as my new app.

They say no one knows you like your best friend… but she has a lot to answer for with Dune.

As I follow a man named Hambone through a biker bar filled with ominous tattoos, impressive beards, and enough leather to cover the Rockies, only one thought is in my mind--

I’m going to kill Charlotte when this blind date is over.

But once I see Dune, covered in sexy tattoos, impressive muscles, and exactly the right amount of leather, it’s hard to think at all. The man has a bad-boy look that won’t quit and a good-guy job as an accountant. Even I can do this math: him plus me, minus clothes.

This good girl is about to get a little bit bolder in search of truth, justice, and a rebellious phase.

MY REVIEW
This bundle is a great intro to the Dating Season series. Chloe is tired of waiting around on her unrequited crush, her friend Austin, so now she's set out to find THE ONE. First up is Finn.

REVIEW OF SPRING FLING
Chloe needs to get back into the game. The dating game that is. And she needs to get over her unrequited crush on her friend, Austin. A dating app should be just the trick. Right? So when she meets a hot fitness instructor, Finn, she's delighted to find they have serious chemistry. Serious chemistry, like scorch the sheets kind of chemistry. But is Finn really the guy she thinks he is? When he takes her home to meet his parents, the test is on. Will she pass and move onto the next phase with Finn? Or fail miserably and go back to her boring singlehood?

I loved Spring Fling! It's lighthearted, fun, witty, and seriously freaking hot. I can't wait to find out what Chloe's next step is and I really want to find out who she ultimately ends up with.

REVIEW OF SUMMER REBOUND
Chloe's at it again, looking for that connection she can't have with Austin, her friend/roommate who has a girlfriend. She finds herself face to face with a hot bad boy tatted up biker accountant named Dune. Hotness ensues. Some moments of hilarity. More of Chloe being the adorable person she always is. Chloe just trying to find the love she deserves. If Austin doesn't wake up and realize who is right in front of his face before the end of this series, I'm going to cry because my girl Chloe deserves the world.

This series is just about perfect - fun, sweet, hilarious at times, a little emotional what with Chloe's unrequited feelings, and filled with heat and lots of heart. I can't wait for Fall Hard and the next guy Chloe might find love with.

She is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however.

When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Killing Eve or Letterkenny, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She's also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn't do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio.

She is represented by Rebecca Friedman.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...

Title: The Challenge: A Single Dad Romance Author: Penelope Ward Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance Tropes: Single Dad, Second Chance, Forced Proximity Friends to Lovers, Small Town, Found Family Release Date: August 30, 2026 BLURB From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward comes a new, STANDALONE contemporary romance… Nothing says welcome home like accidentally moving in with your first heartbreak…and his little girl. Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...
