McKenna
I’ve always had a thing for my best friend’s older brother. In fact, I’ve been planning our wedding since elementary school. Then I grew up, moved away, and studying, and law school became my only focus.

Now that I’m back, the sexy cowboy is everywhere I turn. I shouldn’t mind so much as Rip Callahan is all levels of fine. My problem? His presence… his attention is sending me in a spin. And our reconnection? It’s fast and intense and everything I’ve ever dreamed of.

So why am I getting in my own way?

Rip
I didn’t know the first kiss I ever had would still play on my mind over ten years later. But with beauty and brains, McKenna Dawson is under my skin and very much off-limits.

Crushing on my sister’s best friend isn’t the worst part. That connection? I can’t ignore it. Should I fight it? Probably. Do I want to? Absolutely not.

A challenge among friends is all it takes for me to know she’s what I’ve been missing. That and one incredible trip with those same friends means there’s no going back. Not for me.

It was only supposed to be a weekend, but maybe we were meant to be forever after all.

MY REVIEW
McKenna has graduated from law school and has finally come home, and Rip's feelings have become more apparent than ever, to himself at least. She's gone and grown up from his little sister's best friend, grown into a beautiful woman. Can he convince her to give into their attraction? Get her to fall into their feelings, feelings neither had realized were reciprocated for all their growing up years? Or has her past, her parents' horrible relationship, damaged her far too much, so much so that she can't believe in Rip's words, in the way he shows her how feels about her?

Kaylee is great with bringing her readers sweet, sexy romances, and that's exactly what Forever After All is - a sweet, hot friends to lovers story. It's so obvious how the two feel about each other and I was glad that their feelings for each other had always been mutual. Really the only part I didn't like about this otherwise wonderful tale was McKenna's refusal to believe in Rip's feelings. I know her parents' marriage had almost ruined her for love, but her stubborn rejection of how he felt was grating at best, annoying af at worst. Aside from her behavior though, I loved the rest of their journey as they went from childhood friends to happily in love.

Review: Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette (American Revolutionary Tales 2) by Regina Kammer

Review of Winter Interlude: An American Revolutionary Novelette by Regina Kammer Captain Samuel Taylor and Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton recall their first steamy encounter, which was a MFM threesome in a brothel. It morphed into more and now the two are contemplating their futures with the women they love, and their futures with each other. If you think times are hard for the LGBT community now, think of how hard they were during the American Revolution. Winter Interlude is well developed, which is surprising given its short length. I am so interested in knowing what is to become of Samuel and Patrick's forbidden relationship. Do they stay together? Or do they go their separate ways, and live out their lives with their women? Now that they've admitted their love for each other, how impossible would it be for them to be without each other? I have to know, now! If you like MM fiction and/or historical fiction, I highly recommend you give Winter Interlude a read. It...
