MY REVIEW
Callie has finally come back to the living after 2 years of grieving her husband. Now she wants to have a baby using her husband's DNA so she's referred by her best friend Simon (from British Bedmate) to a fertility specialist nicknamed the Baby Maker. Shd had no idea that instead of giving her a baby, Dr. Keegan would bring her heart back to life, that she'd start to develop feelings she never thought she'd feel again for another soul after her husband passed. Is she really ready for a relationship again, though? Has she grieved enough, made room in her heart for loving another man? Especially one who claims to have no desire for children, family, commitment or love?

This one was a bit heartbreaking to read as Callie fought her way back to life after having grieved Nigel for so long. She goes through what seems to be a very realistic, if emotional, journey that includes a ton of push and pull, and unfortunately, hurts Keegan more than what he could almost bear, in the process. That was really the only part I didn't like, but it seemed like something that would really happen with a partner who isn't really ready for another relationship yet. I loved this story, though, even though Callie irritated me a bit too much for me to be able to give it 5 stars. Other than her, though, everything else was great - angsty, steamy, with a sweet ending.
