Addie just found out her boss is going on medical leave for a few months, which means she'll be furloughed for those months. Now how is she going to save enough money for the cardiac surgery that will save her son's life?

Thankfully a revelation from a friend gives her the perfect solution, and it's that solution that will mean she meets the man who will change everything - Mister Masher, the baseball god himself, Lucas. Will what's supposed to be just a one time date quickly turn to more?

This is a sweet, lighthearted addition to the Cocky Hero Club. I loved Lucas, he is an absolute sweetheart, and perfect for Addie and her son Noah.

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
