Review / Release Blitz: Just Not That Into Billionaires (Billionaires of Manhattan #6) by Annika Martin

Just Not That Into Billionaires by Annika Martin is now live!

Francine is stunned when she discovers she's been married - for the last ten years! - to Benny, a surly and anti-social nerd who she worked with one summer in Vegas.

How in the world did they end up married? They could hardly stand each other! Though there was that drunken night....

She tracks down Benny, sure he'll be as shocked about the marriage as she is, sure he'll be happy to dissolve their union ASAP so she can get the documents she desperately needs.

But Benny is now a cold and wolfish billionaire. And yes, he'll sign the paperwork...for a price: she has to spend the next three weeks playing his doting wife.

MY REVIEW
Francine's about to embark on an international dance tour, but there's one little thing holding her back - a little matter of her visa status. To clear it up, she has to go beg the man she apparently married (and doesn't remember doing so) to divorce her, so that when she marks single on her visa applications, she's actually single. Too bad for her Benny's not so inclined to sign the divorce papers. Too bad for her when she becomes his fake/real wife, the connection they once had is still there.

At one point after Francine ran out on him after their drunken wedding, he was angry and hurt. Now, though, he's over her and what she did. But being over her doesn't mean he doesn't want her to suffer just a little... Too bad for him he soon finds Francine's not the bad person he had thought all these years since she left. Perhaps she'll want to stay married to him, even if he is a billionaire, which is apparently something she's very much not into.

Sweet, witty and fun, and so sexy - yes, I loved Benny and Francine. They're not only absolutely adorable, but they're layered and lovable, and opposites in many ways, in ways that fully mesh with each other.

Title: The Challenge: A Single Dad Romance Author: Penelope Ward Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance Tropes: Single Dad, Second Chance, Forced Proximity Friends to Lovers, Small Town, Found Family Release Date: August 30, 2026 BLURB From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward comes a new, STANDALONE contemporary romance… Nothing says welcome home like accidentally moving in with your first heartbreak…and his little girl. Coming back to my small Wyoming hometown was supposed to be temporary. I only planned to stay long enough to help my ailing mother and sort through the mess of my family’s old belongings. Instead, I somehow ended up living in Evan Ricci’s house. The single dad now owned a bunch of properties and one of them was the place I’d rented. He’d taken it off the market and moved in before I got there. I just never got the memo. Unfortunately, there was no other place in town available, so Evan let me stay. Evan—the guy my parents took in years a...

You TV series

Wow, hubby and I watched You on Lifetime last night. It was creepy and suspenseful. Hubby likened it to Dexter , and I have to agree. Penn Badgley was on point - creepy, stalkery, but fascinating. I didn't think too much of Elizabeth Lail's acting, but I'm not sure if it was just that her character was bland, or if it was truly bad acting. Can't wait for next week!
